Emmy-award-winning journalist Richelle Carey is a moderator, host, and speaker who facilitates real conversations with global changemakers. With a foundation built on journalistic integrity and a relentless pursuit of transformative dialogue, Richelle has engaged audiences from world and civic leaders to corporate professionals at premier events such as the Doha Forum, Essence Festival, GasTech, Reuters Momentum AI, and Reuters NEXT. Her work has consistently showcased her commitment to making complex ideas accessible and understandable, driven by the core values of curiosity, empathy, and integrity. Previously, Richelle worked as a broadcast journalist anchoring newscasts on Al Jazeera English, Al Jazeera America, CNN, and CNN Headline News over a decorated career spanning more than two decades. After leaving her dream job as an international news anchor to return home and adopt her son as a single woman, Richelle now shares her personal journey to inspire others to build the lives they want, regardless of life's timing or circumstances. Richelle holds a Bachelor's Degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and resides in her hometown of Houston with her son.
